Userphobia is assuming all users are junkies
It holds that all (illegal) drugs are the same and that we all use them the same way.
Userphobia says it is OK to use this drug, but you have no right to use that one,
Or to do what you like with your body.

Userphobia is treating all users as if they were sick;
Userphobia is assuming users don't have the same illnesses and accidents
As the rest of the human race;
Userphobia is thinking that users don't feel pain.

Userphobia is the politics of having a class of "untouchables"
That everyone else in society can feel good about kicking.
Userphobia is the result of a century of propaganda so crude
That if it were directed against anyone else you'd laugh your pants off!
It turns citizens into criminals and governments into war criminals.
Userphobia turns parents against their children
And makes children grow up knowing that
Their society's laws oppress the people.

Userphobia assumes that all people who take drugs are sociopaths;
It says that we take our individual identities from the drugs we use
And that we are all the same.
Userphobia has inflicted Hepatitis, HIV, Septicemia, amputations, poverty, alienation,
War and death on citizens of The Lucky Country and upon people in all lands.

Userphobia is irrational, illogical, unjust, unwarranted and hypocritical.
It is oppression; it is fascism
IT IS EVERYWHERE
But it is weak, foolish, unsustainable and doomed
It is a fabric of fear, fallacy and shame
That cannot stand long against the weight of civilized conscience
END THE OPPRESSION
